to our joy and satisfaction the “Educational Yoga at School” is pre-posed for the third year by the prestigious and ancient University of Padua.

The UniPd call for applications for the Higher Education Course is open and places are limited.

The Course is intended for teachers of all subjects, pedagogists, psychologists, educators, yoga teachers, social and health workers and undergraduates in Psychology, Biomedicine, Exercise and Education Sciences.

A new neuro-psycho-pedagogical approach tool that aims to bring out the potential of the child, youth, and adolescent in the ability to learn, concentrate, and relate to others, with theoretical insights and research dedicated to the holistic world, combined with recent innovations in Educational Science, Developmental Psychology of the Age of Development, Philosophy, and Neuroscience.

SSD “Yoga Educativo” is present and contributes, with its 20 years of experience with workshops and practices of movement, breathing and contact, teaching silence, relaxation, listening, creating empathy and closeness among the very young; it is committed to bringing out the child’s potential and elevating his or her ability to learn, concentrate and relate to others.

We believe it is better to teach children to appreciate the process rather than judgment about the outcome.

This attitude produces in them a kind of internal guidance, space of nonjudgment, self-esteem and joy in engaging.

This is the third edition of the Advanced Training Course on Educational Yoga for Children, Youth and Adolescents at the University of Padua and generally at an Italian University nationwide.

The Course will be held in 8 meetings monthly:
Friday, h 14.30-19.00 and Saturday h 9.00-13.00 and 14.30-18.00,
distributed from September/October 2022 to June 2023.
Total 96 hours of attendance.
(80% compulsory) at university classrooms in Padua and Treviso.

The program includes: lectures, labs, project Work, tutorials, seminars, internships, and the final exam.
A Bachelor’s degree is not required to participate and a Teacher’s Paper Bonus is accepted.

The trainees therefore acquire from Higher Education:

  • high multidisciplinary, theoretical and practical skills, methods and specific tools to support the growth of the child, youth and adolescent as experts in enhancing the principles of Educational Yoga at school;
  • skills, according to the Educational Yoga method, for school placement of: movement, mindful breathing, relaxation, mindfulness, visualization and contact;
  • the skills to implement interventions with respect to the difficulties experienced at school by teachers and pupils (ADHD, BES, bullying, DSA).The Course builds a professional profile that enables trainees to operate as :
  • instructors and / or consultants, facilitators, external experts at School Institutions, Preschools, primary and secondary schools of 1st and 2nd grade, Public and Private Social Education Agencies( Onlus, Associations, Cooperatives, etc…).
  • Culturists and technicians specialized in educational yoga with high theoretical and practical skills, experts in popularization and enhancement of the discipline;
  • Experts in educational yoga theories and practices who can apply the knowledge gained as consultants for teachers, pedagogists, yoga instructors, psycho-pedagogists with special reference to holistic disciplines;
  • Organizers of cultural events related to educational yoga.

We believe this is an opportunity not to be missed, both for the university-level CFU credits of the Course and for the collaboration between trainers from the Yogic-Olistic environment and the Academic world, in the reality of the prestigious and ancient University of Padua.
